OTHER NEWS:

-I have been posting regularly with my fellow artist and neighbor Marissa Falco. We have taken it upon ourselves to draw a drawing every day (in addition to our regular art-tasks) in 2010 with a different theme every week! We are almost done with FOUR MONTHS WORTH and having a great time.
Two Story Sketchbook
Two Story Sketchbook is our 365 drawing blog. Check it out for lots of small, spontaneous often funny drawings by Marissa and myself.

-I took a beautiful and inspiring trip to Vancouver in February. Boy oh boy, is it amazing out there! Giant trees and beautiful mountains, lovely people and the mighty Pacific. I can't wait to go back again someday (soon I hope)!

-Ten one-of-a-kind Button Bird pillows were recently sent to the other side of the planet to Hunt & Gather, an online shop based in Australia!

They specialize in all kinds of "eco designer wares." The pillows I made from them are made from cotton calicos and hemp/cotton blends. Very nice shop.

UPCOMING SHOW(S):

You will find me at the Newburyport Spring Fest in May! It is my first show in Newburyport and I'll be selling on my own for the first time so please come by and say hello if you are in the area.

Long time no post! Springtime!

Hello fair visitors! There has been a lot going on in the Egg-A-Go-Go Studio but not much news-posting! My apologies.

The aforementioned Beard&Glasses shirts are now in production and when they are in stock, they can be found in the shop. I try to accommodate custom requests for colors/sizes so feel free to email me if you have a request.
This design is also now available on eco-friendly recycled cotton tote bags too!

Springtime is peep
ing its head above ground here in Somerville and I'm doing my best to stay inside a little so I can finish up projects and new products. Easter-colored Catnip Egg Half Dozens will be in the shop soon as well as some exciting new stationery items!

Hanni helping with catnip egg QC.

So! More news soon.
Hopefully exciting news about spring/summer shows coming up. Please stop by the shop to see what's new and feel free to drop me a line to say HI!

Thanks for reading!

Hello Everyone! (upcoming shows!)

Things have been quiet here for QUITE a while but there are some exciting events on the horizon so here is the rundown...

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Craftland!
Providence, RI
December 4 - December 30, 2009

Bazaar Bizarre!
Boston, MA
December 6th, 2009 12-7pm

My goods will be at both, myself will be at the BB!

The Bazaar Bizarre is back at the charmingly round Cyclorama in Boston's lovely south end. Get their early to beat the line! (Oh and rumor has it that the BBB will be giving away some long-ago-sold-out EARLY BIRD tickets to people following them on Twitter and Facebook so if you don't do that already, you should!)

I will have a table piled high with the classics - pillows, onesies, stationery... some with old designs, some with brand new ones.

Also, I'll be reopening/updating
the Egg-A-Go-Go Etsy shop before December 6th so if you can't make either of these lovely events, check there for handmade goodness.

Hope to see you soon!

Working Weekend Coming Up!

Last night I puttered around the studio piling piles, sorting supplies and cutting fabric for a big weekend of MAKING.
With HOLY CRAFT a week and a day away I need to get my stock inventoried and freshened up with some new items!

There are at least 6 Button Bird Pillows in the works as well as lots of little stuffed friends of a new species.

I placed a big shirt order so those will be in the works soon. I won't get them today but I'll be making screens and prepping to print in the coming weeks.

New card design, more of the old favorites... Exciting!

The slow re-emergence of New England spring in my neighborhood has been hugely inspiring!
Happy Friday!
